Student collective Global Architecture Profiling (GAP) launches its seventh annual architectural exhibition at The University of Melbourne, Faculty of Architecture, Building, and Planning.
This year the exhibition presents contemporary architectural production in the world heritage listed Mexican city of Puebla.
Puebla has featured prominently in Mexico’s history; from its influential urban design developments in 16th century to the battle of Puebla which is commemorated by Mexico’s annual Cinco de Mayo celebrations.
The GAP series aims to broaden design discourse by showcasing the work of emerging and contemporary designers in an urban centre often overlooked by major publications.
GAP launches its website in the month leading up to the exhibition, which catalogues previous exhibitions over the last six years.
